As it does almost every year at this time, it features more than one place in Texas – and both of this years shows have been featured on Delicious Mischief. Stephan Pyles gets a nod for his dazzlingly exotic spice route fantasy called Samar in Dallas, and we sit down this week with exec chef Randy Evans and owner Rhea Wheeler at Haven in Houston. We also taste the wines brought to Haven by two lovely ladies from Napa Valley, Sharon Harris of Rarecat and Amici, and Beth Novac Milliken of Spottswoode.
